The Attorney Profiles function organizes the data based on an individual attorney, including clients, filing history, and contact details. This section consolidates your understanding of the corresponding attorney’s client portfolio to better prepare for meetings and contact information to reach out.

How to use:

  1. Go to the Analyze section of the side menu.
  2. Select Attorneys.
  3. Type First and Last Name of the attorney in the name search bar.
  4. Select the attorney whom you find relevant.
  5. Click the arrow at the end of the name search bar to load the profile.

Use case:

This is similar to understanding the information available in an applicant’s or law firm’s profile, including the volume and bibliographic information of the filings that the attorney has done for each client, technical expertise, etc,, but at an individual person’s level. This data corresponds to each law firm that the attorney has worked for over time. Contact information to reach the Attorney can be retrieved from the About tab.

FAQ’s

The names of the attorneys are derived from patent and trademark filings, online sources as well as external databases that collect information about individuals. We match all those data. In scenarios when the attorney’s name is not reflected in an application, we are unable to attribute it to the individual attorney.

It is possible that IP Pilot has not picked up all the latest information when an attorney moves to another firm. This is reflected on IP Pilot when new information becomes publicly available.

Yes. We only use publicly available information and do not display any private information. Secondly, it is compliant with data privacy laws to contact people for business relationships via details we provide, if you can expect a legitimate interest in your matter or services.
