The Excel Autofill feature allows users to match entities from their own Excel list against IP Pilot’s database to retrieve specified information/fields for all entities in the list. Instead of visiting attorney or law firm profiles individually to export your required data, you can quickly collect the standardized set of data points in one document. This is particularly useful when you’re scoping out several entities at once.
How to use:
- Load the file: Upload a XLSX list of applicants or law firms. Note: only the first 1000 rows of the first tab are considered. The file must contain a NAME column. A COUNTRY column (using two-letter country codes) can be added for better name matching.
- Click Match Data.
- Check matched data: Check the results of the entities input in the Excel against IP Pilot’s database. You can choose to proceed with all the matches, shortlist a subset of matched entities based on your preferred minimum similarity score, or manually match the name of an incorrectly matched entity by clicking on the pencil icon.
- Click Select Data.
- Select output data: Add the data points you require based on IP Pilot’s Chart titles. You can select a maximum of 3 charts’ data. Adjust the time period and add constraints for your use case. You can also check to include the data from the KPI bar.
- Click Update My File.
- Get updated file: Download the XLSX file with tabs displaying the data of selected charts. Contact details of every entity, wherever available, are included in the first tab of the updated XLSX file.
- Return to Select Data step if you wish to add more data points.
