Use Case: Preparing to Meet an Attorney for the First Time

Similar to exploring a law firm or applicant profile, the People profile gives you visibility into the volume and bibliographic details of the filings an attorney has handled for each of their clients, along with their technical areas of expertise, but at an individual level. This data also reflects each law firm the attorney has worked for over time. To find contact information for reaching out, navigate to the About tab within the profile.

FAQ’s

Attorney names are sourced from patent and trademark filings, online sources, and external databases that collect information about individuals. IP Pilot consolidates and matches data across these sources. In cases where an attorney’s name is not listed on an application, it is not possible to attribute those filings to that individual.

IP Pilot reflects the latest publicly available information, but there may be a delay in capturing changes, such as when an attorney moves to a new firm. The profile will be updated once that information becomes publicly available.

Yes, IP Pilot only displays publicly available information and does not include any private data. Using this contact information to reach out for business purposes is compliant with data privacy laws, provided there is a legitimate interest in your matter or services.
